You can reach Quedlinburg by car most quickly via the Nordharzautobahn A36, using the exits "Quedlinburg-Mitte" or "Quedlinburg-Ost". From the west, connect via the A7 through Goslar or the A369 from Braunschweig, and from the east, connect via the A14 from Magdeburg (north) or Halle/Leipzig (south). Follow the signs to the city center from the exits until you reach Steinweg 61.

At Steinweg 61, you can briefly stop to unload your luggage and check in. At the check-in terminal located directly at the entrance, you will receive the keys to the property and your vacation apartment. Afterwards, you can park your car in the parking lot, which is 280 meters away. You will receive the PIN code and directions to the parking lot barrier with your check-in email. One parking space is available per apartment. If you are traveling with multiple vehicles, please use the public parking lot "An den Fischteichen."

Arrival by Bus and Train

Direct train connections are available hourly from Magdeburg to Quedlinburg. Schedules can be found on the Abellio or Deutsche Bahn websites. On weekends and national holidays, you can travel directly from Berlin to Quedlinburg and back with the Harz-Berlin-Express, which stops in Potsdam, Magdeburg, and Halberstadt.

Quedlinburg's train station is approximately 850 meters from the market square, the center of Quedlinburg. The shortest route from Steinweg 61 to the station passes through Konvent, then Kaiserstraße and Bahnhofstraße, and takes about 11 minutes on foot (750 meters). Alternatively, you can also take city bus line 206, or bus lines 233, 235, and 241 to the station. The nearest bus stop is right in Steinweg, just a minute's walk from Steinweg 61. Buses are available for travel within Quedlinburg and to nearby towns. Timetables for Harz Verkehrsbetriebe and public transportation in Saxony-Anhalt are available online. Alternatively, you can take a taxi to Steinweg 61, with various taxi services available.

HATIX (Harz Vacation Ticket) – Free Mobility in the Harz Region

The Harz Vacation Ticket (HATIX) is a special offer that you can use free of charge during your vacation in the Harz region. It provides unlimited travel on all public bus and tram lines within the Harz district, as well as on selected lines in the Mansfeld-Südharz district and in the Lower Saxony districts of Goslar and Göttingen. You will receive your ticket easily when you stay and pay the current guest contribution (in participating locations in the Harz region), including in Quedlinburg.

Upon arrival and payment, you will find the registration form or guest card on the table in your vacation apartment. This document serves as your Harz Vacation Ticket.
